Summary: Faith Presbyterian Church has a small choir, generally 10-12 people.  The choir is usually accompanied by the piano, occasionally by the organ.  We are looking for someone who has musical experience, particularly with choir music.  Previous directing experience is not required.

​Job Description for Faith Presbyterian Church Choir Director:

• Direct the adult choir for 9 months of the year (Mid-August to Mid-May)

• Select, prepare, and lead choral music for Sunday morning worship in concert with the Pastor and organist/pianist

• Conduct weekly adult choir practices, and direct choral music for Sunday morning services and for special worship services (Christmas Eve and Maundy Thursday)

• Provide church’s administrative assistant with bulletin information

• Serve as an Ex-Officio Member of Worship and Music Committee

• Compensation for the duties of the choir director will be determined by the Session on an annual basis; payment may be made on a semi-monthly or monthly basis at the desire of the person holding the position
